Four 45s dabbling in the arts. I saw the Joao Onofre piece in Lisbon, it’s a take on an a cappella version of Kraftwerk, as is the flip side. Ali Smith’s rhythmic readings fitted perfectly to traditional folk and salsa, Martin Creed’s lift music at the South Bank was begging to be elevated and an overlay of Django Reinhardt, Henry Kaiser and Kurt Cobain was calling to me.
